Edward Luce's trenchant analysis of Obama's top advisers from Thursday's Financial Times (it ran online late Wednesday) has been setting the Beltway and media circles abuzz for the last few days. I had a look at it Saturday morning, and, while I remain skeptical about a number of details, feel it sums up a major reason that Obama's agenda has not enjoyed the traction it should have had.
