August 11, 2009 – Geneva (apj.us) – Diminutive slink Jim DeMint, a low-grade US senator who talks like a fruitcake has decided to take the lead in destroying America’s chances for an excellent and fair health care system.  What DeMint has on his mind is hard to tell but I suppose anyone, anyone at all, could be 2012 Republican nominee for president.

DeMint, a first term semi literate South Carolinian has decided that he is an expert on health care, doesn’t give a hoot about uninsured kids and adults; more than fifty million of them, and doesn’t even have a sense of what he’s talking about inasmuch as there is no healthcare bill in either house or senate – just a number of them floating around – none of which, in the final days will become law.

DeMint’s attacks on the White House and anyone supporting it are just any chance to demean Obama and his supporters.  This is the typical suicidal strategy adopted by the neocons in the past, and now taken up by neo-morons as they seek to gain some, any, power at all in Washington.

He is desperate for power.  When a man like DeMint is frantic for control he has to be stopped or he will destroy what’s taken 250 years to build – A nation with a moral compass, at least some of the time.

Let me tell you a little about Jim DeMint.  First, and most important, he is tied by the scrotum to the healthcare industry.  He’s an adman, a marketer, a greedy self-serving type of guy – a mean politician’s politician.  His only problem is the lack of smarts.

For instance, DeMint thinks that because he headed a marketing firm that people will believe his gibberish. He hasn’t noticed that Americans do not trust businessmen – not at all, unless it’s a very small businessman, the type that own a corner grocery store or maybe a dry cleaner.

DeMint is always rated as one of the most deadly conservative senators on the Hill – already.  His gambit – to pretend he’s Ronald Reagan without a soul.  Just in the past few weeks he has promised a Waterloo for President Obama and swore to “break him” as if he was a dog – or a slave perhaps?

“Break him.”

What an ass.

The White House and DNC are hitting him hard, and I am sure with great glee, but a man like this deserves grave attention. How on earth did he end up as one of the most powerful 100 men on earth?  You guess is not as good as mine – I’d say he’s owned lock, stock and barrel by “corporate earth”.

DeMint is going to stop the “socialization” of medicine he tells us. Why not say the communization of healthcare?  It’s hard to belief that DeMint still thinks we’re in the Cold War – but then again, I suppose his dimwittedness and soul-less personality would call for that.

While Senator DeMint is a weak sister in the Senate as a whole – he can still pull asinine girly-boy nastiness like putting “holds” on Obama nominees, and backing the illegal coup in Honduras. The only people in the US backing the Honduran coup are the thieves raping that very poor nation and its resources – whatever is left of them.

DeMint is no Hitler.  He hasn’t got the speech-making down yet.

No, he’s just a whore for health insurance companies that would prefer you die rather than get that MRI you might need, or that chemo that might extend your life for another few years.

He’s for allowing us to “cross state lines” to purchase health insurance – but of course that’s only because the creeps that fund him are ready and able to lure you into some Southern wreck of an insurance company that will rob you and your family in the end.

DeMint also pretends to “know nothing” about the orchestrated shouting matches arranged by the sleaziest and best paid Republican apparatchiks.  Like all the Southern neocons he instead urges a quieter approach while laughing behind his back as his paid actors shout down Town hall meetings held by any Democrat who supports overhauling the system of healthcare which has punished as many people as it has helped.  DeMint calls for politeness and respect but then stands on the sidelines in a micro mini cheering these phonies on.

Has it occurred to him that people don’t act like these rabble rouser clowns in real life? The creepy slobs shouting down Democrats are well-rehearsed and are gaining something – including money I assure you - for their role playing as outraged citizens spouting lie and after lie but only when the TV camera lights go on.

To the slaveholders of old he’s the new Jesse Helms – but even Helms realized he was going to Hell for his past and tried to make up for it in later years.  He didn’t succeed.

Someone wrote that DeMint is proud he is the third-most followed member of congress on Twitter!  I would say that is his greatest claim to fame.

Idiots at the neo-Nazi think tank they flippantly call “The Heritage Foundation” – as if they had anything at all to do with this nation’s heritage think DeMint is a man of conscience – yes – just like Dick Cheney, and Heinrich Himmler - also beloved at Heritage.

I’ve watched DeMint closely.  You should see this nobody swell when some moronic interviewer asks him about his presidential ambitions.  It’s just too hilarious.

What DeMint really is just another Republican lamebrain destroying his own Party.  He is loathed among many of his GOP colleagues who have told me, off the record that DeMint is a one-man wrecking machine and will do more damage to the Republicans than George W. Bush and Dick Cheney accomplished in their eight years of terror.

DeMint is right about one thing – Hell-bent Southern Republicans are still getting elected in the Deep South.  He certainly knows his constituents – high school dropouts who live in trailer park, drinking case after case of cheap beer and moaning about their “Nigger President” who “wasn’t born in America”.

DeMint is Hitlerian in at least one way. He talks about having respect for gentler-minded liberals and then turns around and  incites his operatives to call out people who are supporting changes in the current health care scam by attacking them and telling them ‘If you don’t like America – move you Socialist pig!”.  This is what Hitler did to the Jews.

Here is an example of just how ignorant DeMint is.   I heard a speech he made at the National Press Club, and read it again today to make sure I had it right.  In this speech he claimed that the United States was almost like Germany before World War II “where they became a social democracy.”

Hey Senator DeMint, Germany was not a social democracy before WW II – it was in ruins and then became a dictatorship.  Yet there is an element of truth in his comparison, that being almost a decade of Bush-Cheney – I’ll grant him that.

Idiot DeMint went further and compared America to Nazi Germany citing “power grabs” and using Iran and Venezuela as examples?   In that instant he first admitted our culpability in overthrowing the Shah and allowing Islamic fundamentalist crazies to control Iran, and further demonstrated his ignorance (or his speechwriter’s) in that Venezuela is a Democracy – not only that, but the U.S. just a short time ago tried to depose Hugo Chavez illegally simply because he’s left of center.

DeMint  simplemindedly compares President Obama to Hitler. – and that’s what he intended to do despite his bleating denials. His problem is that it was his Party that achieved terrible neo-Nazi outcomes.  DeMint must be the dullest knife in the congressional drawer.

Let the truth be recognized – Well known local supporter of DeMint regularly carry placards complete with Swastikas placed on Democrat’s faces. His supporters also engage in what could be only described as gangland terrorism at political meetings.  Their goal is to terrify those who know that health-care, and especially health care insurers and pharmaceutical companies must be reigned in.

Like a little Hitler himself DeMint claims he likes the people he castigates and tries to destroy through lies and intimidation.  He tells reporters that he likes Obama “personally”. Sure, that’s why South Carolina voters were dumbed-down enough to vote for McCain.

The most alarming thing about DeMint among so many disturbing traits is that he claims he has the better view of the role of government.  This he bases on some trumped up right wing interpretation of the Constitution and, stunningly, he thinks that history has proven that Obama is wrong for doing much the same as most of the Republican presidents preceding him, not to mention free-spending George W. Bush who seems to like rewarding his war-machine buddies at the expense of our boys and girls lives and benefit of Dick Cheney’s old employer.

DeMint has been a tropical disease in congress since 1998 when he was elected to the House. Six years later he replaced the beloved Fritz Hollings, a Democrat, and began to form the DeMint posse of neo-Klan members who believe in socialism for corporate interests, but not yours.

In a word, Jim DeMint is a pariah. He is an example of everything America should be ashamed of.  He took every opportunity to bash Hispanics as “illegal aliens” and opposed even George W. Bush’s immigration policies calling them a despicable  ‘amnesty policy” – and just like Hitler – stoked the American people – with the help of Fox News and Rush Limbaugh into become more rabidly racist than they are.

Like all the bamboozlers DeMint seems not to realize that baby boomers are retiring and that without major changes in healthcare policy, Medicare and Medicaid will collapse. Like all fools he thinks it’s okay for 50 million Americans to go without any health insurance at all. At the same time he cries about the potential for “government control” of our lives.

Hate to tell him – but governments everywhere control a great deal of people’s lives – that’s how they get elected and that is how civilizations survive.

DeMint thinks he will propel himself to national prominence by continuing the thuggery that marked the Bush years from day one.

Instead, mercifully, he will end up in the cesspool of history – a name hardly mentioned in the not too distant future.

One last item; while DeMint was in business – his clients included for-profit hospitals. Seems they were his biggest and most profitable clients.
