Cro-Magnon Mail:
Who Would Jesus Snark?

Hey,
While you're tipping the booze at George, why not take a good sober look at ole Ted Kennedy a wet drunk! What an embarassment to the Dems.
Dayle Keefer

Dear Rev. Keefer:

What would Jesus do? Would he write a "compassionate" e-mail such as the one with which you graced us? The New Testament shows us a Jesus who ministered to those in need. I'm sure alcoholics -- admitted or otherwise -- would be included.

You're enough to make Jesus weep.

I can only wonder what your congregation would think of your compassionate little e-mail were they to read it.

Kennedy has been sober for years.

The Rev's an idiot.

What dumpster was this old canard pulled from?

Rev. Keefer needs to be reminded that the dry drunk that concerns us is in the office of the president, not Ted Kennedy.
